The place where a product is kept after manufacturing and before supplying to retailers is known as warehouse. Every manufacturing business needs a warehouse and they employ staff to manage it. A warehouse job usually requires male candidates, as it demands labour intensive work. However, a female supervisor can oversee the work and keep a record of units produced and quantity supplied to a customer. The duty of a warehouse worker varies according to the location and type of product. A warehouse worker has to unload the products from vehicles, then keep it safely in the warehouse, and then load it again when sending to a retailer. It is their duty to keep a record of items received and sent, which they must report to a warehouse manager. A warehouse worker also checks the shipment and makes sure that he does not receive any broken item. Some warehouses have refrigeration system to keep the temperature maintained for manufactured products. Employers prefer candidates with a high school degree but it is not necessary unless you know how to type and manage things properly. Warehouse jobs require honest and sincere professionals with perfect writing and data entry skills.
