Insurance companies provide an opportunity for people to secure their possessions like cars, aircrafts, businesses, houses, etc. These companies take yearly premium and provides compensation if loss occurs. Medical insurances are also available nowadays, which allow people to get money for their medical treatment. The insurance staff is divided in two basic departments known as sales department and Compensation department. A sales officer in an insurance company is required to reach different individuals or offices to market their insurance policy. These sales officers have to make an estimate of the value of the thing that needs to be insured. The compensation department comes in action after the occurrence of loss. These professionals visit client’s place and make highly accurate estimates about the cost of loss, and forward it for compensation. Most of the time, sales and compensation staff stay on move and they get a scooter for that. They have to take photos as a proof to avoid conflicts later on. There are no specific educational requirements for this staff, but most companies only hire candidates with bachelor degree in the risk management and insurance assessments. They usually get a fixed pay and a commission on every assignment they handle.
